I had to do a double take when I saw this picture of her because it didn’t even look like the exotic looking star that I’m used to.</p><p>Although she doesn’t mention it in her blog or interviews, I think that the switch is partly due to the fact that she recently broke up with long time boyfriend, Reggie Bush. I assume she wanted a drastic change and boy, did she get it! I definitely prefer Kim Kardashian with her darker hue ... the blonde hair takes away from her natural beauty and makes her blend in with the rest of young Hollywood. Getting blonde hair out of dark hair requires quite a bit of time and investment up front, not to mention the maintenance required.</p> <p align="left">If I were to do this on one of my clients, I would charge for the price of a double process full weave and color combined. The price of something like this would easily start at $150 and go up from there. If the cost is worth it to you to get your hair like Kim Kardashian’s, then next I would suggest thinking of the time involved. Achieving this blonde hair color from someone who currently has dark locks would take several hours initially and at least two to three hours for each touch up. Touch ups would need to be done every 4-6 weeks.</p> <p align="left">As you can see, getting blonde hair from your dark hair can be a big step. However, if your hair is in a virgin state (meaning it has never been colored), going with blonde hair might be a good option for you. 5 Healthy Ways to Improve your skin!

So many times I have people coming into my work, whether it be spa room or make-up store, and making comments on how nice my skin is. As soon as I tell them about 302, they start making an excuse for themselves-<br /><br />"Oh, well you're young enough to be my son." or "Skin is genetic, I just use Dove Soap" or "I've never heard of 302, I use Chanel"<br /><br />Can we firstly talk about how skincare lines like Chanel are mostly fragrance and chemicals? Yuck.<br /><br />Secondly, Did you know that all but 20% of your genes are altered by your lifestyle? That means that you can only blame your parents for 20% of who you are, the other 80% is up to YOU! Your diet, climate, stress level, sun exposure, and ofcourse, your Skincare regimen, all can make or break your skin. Just because your Mom had Acne or Wrinkles doesn't mean you have to aswell - You can alter your genes by making positive changes! (Reference: Human Genome Project, cited in 'Life Food Factor' by Susan Schenck)<br /><br />1. Diet plays a role in the appearance of skin, as somethings will either help create or help destroy collagen. One of the easiest things you can do for your skin is get rid of the <span style="font-weight: bold;">Four Deadly Whites.</span> <span style="font-style: italic;">Refined & White Sugar</span> (spikes blood sugar, creating inflammation/free radical damage), <span style="font-style: italic;">Refined & White Flour</span> (processed by the body as table sugar, thus more inflammation), <span style="font-style: italic;">Dairy </span>(we are the only species that drinks the milk of another mammal, and all the naturally occuring hormones aren't good for the skin or hormonal balance) & <span style="font-style: italic;">Salt </span>(whether its table sold, or sea salt - salt is an inorganic mineral and it causes puffiness and bloating. Try to get your organic sodium content from leafy greens & sea veggies!).<span style="font-weight: bold;"><br /><br /></span>2.<span style="font-weight: bold;"> RAW Fruits & Vegetables</span> (organic when possible!) will fill your body with the enzymes and natural nutrition your skin needs to be healthy. (reference: Life Food Factor, Susan Schenck) Supplementing with Life foods, Wheat Grass Juice, Bee Polen, (instead of synthetic vitamins!) or just taking in more meals of Organic greens, and uncooked veggies will make a world of difference! Cooking your veggies kills all the enzymes, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. Eat your fruits and veggies raw when possible!<br /><br />3. Practice <span style="font-weight: bold;">Yoga </span>or <span style="font-weight: bold;">Deep breathing</span> excercises. People only utilize 10% of their lung copacity! Oxygen is needed to purify and oxegenate the blood, and blood is the food of all your skin cells. Having clean oxygenated blood will help nourish your skin! By taking in more oxygen, you are nourishing your entire body, especially your skin, for free! Just do so in a well ventilated area :) This is also great for stress management, as Yoga will help revitalize your mind! (reference: Super Power Breathing, by Paul & Patricia Bragg)<br /><br />4. Unless you are going to be in the sun for over an hour (or you live in an area where your sunlight is extra compromised) settle for SPF 15 or the sunscreen generated from your Mineral Make-up. (My preferred brand of Mineral makeup can be found at Mineralhygenics.com) As much as proper SPF is essential to protect the skin, avoiding the sun alltogether will create many more deficiencies such as Vitamin D, which will affect the skin poorly. Try to get a few minutes of early morning or late even sunlight, as the rays are gentler and far less disctructive.<br /><br />5. And step 5? You guessed it! Use amazing skincare products, like 302. Don't waste your time masking or hiding your imperfections. Clarity/Acne Serum

Hi everyone, especially 302 Users!<br /><br />I wanted to share with you an email from a friend of mine, whom is actually the woman whom introduced me to 302 Via a forum on essentialdayspa.com. This is an email sent to me from her after recieving a reply from Dr. Huber (the biochemist behind the 302 molecule) on the usage of Clarity (formerly acne Serum, which is a 10% Retinyl Acetate serum in an aqueous EGCG base)<br /><br />Since all skincare, and especially 302, will always need to be adjusted to suit all of our individual needs, I think anyone indivual successes need to be shared! Enjoy!<br /><br />Clarity (formerly Acne Serum, which is still how its listed on the 302 site) can be reviewed for ingredients among other things, <a href="http://www.302skincare.com/products_acneserum.html">here.</a><br /><br />This is the wonderful "Boski", who shared 302 with dozens upon dozens via the Essentialdayspa.com forum :)<br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;" ><span>To be honest, it was somebody else who brought this idea to my attention (thanks Eva). I asked Dr H if using Clarity as a "limited contact" topical (wash off) was a good idea for general anti-aging. Because it is so strong, leaving it on my face overnight would not be possible. It caused my skin to dry out and peel off even when spot treating. So, as Dr H previously instructed, I've been using it as a spot acne treatment by using the "limited contact" method...that is mix a pea size of Clarity with some Sensitive cleanser and then leaving on my spots for 2-3 minutes and then rinsing off. This seems to work much better for me. The pimples are gone in a couple days without irritation. So, an anti-aging application could work the same way. Mix a small amount of Clarity with your evening cleanser, leave 2-3 minutes on your face and then rinse off. Since this stuff is pricey and very sun sensitizing, I would not do it very often. Maybe twice a month. This would be the next step up or an alternative to the A Boost. The theory or science behind the "limited contact" method is explained in Dr H's note. This method of applying topicals is also useful for sensitive or rosacea types who cannot handle topicals as "leave-ons" in the early stages of renormalization. HTH<br /><br /></span></span>And this is what Dr. Huber had to say on the matter (always interesting, but sometimes overly technical, but I love that!)<br /><br /><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:12;">I really like the use of Clarity as a wash off, many are telling us of this and it makes great sense, so as always, you are at the forefront and thinking what you do, so thank you for that. The ‘limited’ contact is actually more than enough. Recall our discussion of instant recognition of substances wherein the cells literally react and produce in response to stimulus. The ‘nutrient’ need not be in the cell. This is an area that continues to amaze me but makes perfect sense. Once the cell has recognized the substance, it is only enough for the sensory nodes to recognize it and the signal goes out to produce X, Y or Z depending on if the substance has a positive or negative registry. The nutrient factors if not obtainable by topical application (washing off) will be drawn from the body’s own reservoirs circulating through the blood supply, etc. I think this area needs a lot of work and I understand there is a researcher at UCSF deeply immersed in this. Understanding the limits of the ‘phantom feeding’ effect as I call it, or quantum transport effect, to sound very techy would be a great PhD thesis.<br /><br /><br /></span></span>Personally, I use Clarity 1-2x a week as a leave on, and have been reaping the benefits of smaller pores and little to no congestion, and haven't broken out in months (maybe a tiny, tiny pimple, but nothing that left marks or ever lasted more than a day) but I know alot of people, espcially who aren't as Oily as me, had complaints. This could be something to think about!<br /><br />I'm sorry I've neglected this blog, but I promise I am going to make more of an effort.
